Grupo Clarín is Argentina's largest media conglomerate, controlling the Clarín newspaper (one of the highest-circulation Spanish-language newspapers in the world), the Canal 13 television network, and a portfolio of other print, digital, radio, and audiovisual media brands. Through its subsidiary Cablevisión, now merged into Telecom Argentina, the group was the dominant pay-television operator before the Telecom-Cablevisión merger. The company retains a significant stake in Telecom Argentina.
