Aluar is the only aluminium smelter in Argentina and one of the largest in South America, with a production capacity exceeding 460,000 metric tonnes per year at its Puerto Madryn facility. The company operates four segments: primary aluminium production, processed products (profiles, foils, laminates), energy generation, and engineering and construction. A significant portion of its aluminium output is exported.
