Grupo México is one of the world's largest copper producers, operating mines primarily in Mexico, the United States, and Peru through its subsidiary Southern Copper Corporation. The company also runs Mexico's largest private railroad network through GMéxico Transportes (Ferromex and Ferrosur concessions) and holds infrastructure assets. It is controlled by the Larrea family.
