About the company
Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation is the national reinsurer of Kenya, underwriting reinsurance risks across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The government owns a majority stake, and the corporation benefits from mandatory cession requirements in the Kenyan insurance market. It is one of the few listed reinsurers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
