REN is the operator of Portugal's national electricity transmission grid and the national natural gas transmission and storage infrastructure. The company manages the high-voltage electricity network and the high-pressure gas transport network under long-term regulated concessions granted by the Portuguese state. REN also holds infrastructure assets in Chile through its international division.
