Arauco is one of the world's largest producers of market pulp, wood panels, sawn lumber, and reforestation products, with operations in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, and the United States. It is the primary operating subsidiary of Empresas Copec and controlled by the Angelini family. Arauco holds a minority public float while Copec consolidates the majority.
