CAP is the leading iron ore mining and steel production group in Chile, operating through the Cerro Negro Norte iron ore mine in the Atacama Region and the Huachipato steel mill in the Biobío Region. The company produces iron ore pellets for export and flat steel products for the domestic construction and industrial market. CAP also has a water treatment and port infrastructure subsidiary.
