Eastern Company is Egypt's dominant tobacco manufacturer, holding the monopoly on cigarette production and sales in the domestic market under a government concession. Founded in 1920, the company produces a wide range of cigarette brands and is majority-owned by the Egyptian government. It also has investments in financial, commercial, and industrial activities.
