San Miguel Corporation is one of the largest and most diversified conglomerates in the Philippines, with primary businesses in food and beverages (beer, spirits, processed meats, and dairy), packaging, energy, infrastructure (tollways and airports), and oil refining (Petron). Originally founded as a brewery in 1890, the company has transformed into a broad industrial and infrastructure group under the leadership of Ramon Ang.
