Bangkok Airways is a Thai regional airline operating point-to-point routes connecting Bangkok to secondary Thai cities and popular tourist islands including Samui, Trat, and Sukhothai. The airline owns and manages boutique airports including Samui Airport, giving it a unique competitive position on those routes. Bangkok Airways is controlled by the Prasarttong-Osoth family, the same family behind BDMS hospital group.
