Krung Thai Bank (KTB) is a large state-owned commercial bank providing retail, corporate, and government banking services across Thailand. The bank is majority owned by the Financial Institutions Development Fund under the Bank of Thailand and serves as a key channel for government disbursements and social welfare payments. KTB also developed the Paotang digital wallet platform used widely for government benefit distribution.
