Hapvida is one of Brazil's largest health maintenance organizations (HMOs), operating an integrated health care model that combines health insurance with its own network of hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories. Following its 2022 merger with NotreDame Intermédica, it became the largest vertically integrated private health plan in the country by number of beneficiaries. The company primarily serves individual and SME clients in northern, northeastern, and southeastern Brazil.
