About the company
CPFL Energia is one of Brazil's largest private electricity groups, comprising electricity distribution companies in São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul states as well as generation and transmission assets. Controlled by China's State Grid Corporation since 2017, it distributes power to millions of consumers in the Southeast and South regions of Brazil. CPFL also has renewable energy generation assets through CPFL Renováveis.
