Yang Ming Marine Transport is one of Taiwan's major container shipping companies and a member of the Ocean Alliance, operating global liner services across the Asia-Europe, Trans-Pacific, and intra-Asia trade lanes. The company has a fleet of over 90 container vessels and is partially owned by the Taiwan government. Yang Ming has been modernizing its fleet with larger, more fuel-efficient vessels to improve competitiveness and meet decarbonization targets.
