Pegatron Corporation is one of the world's major electronics contract manufacturers, historically serving as one of Apple's primary iPhone assembly contractors alongside Foxconn. The company was spun off from ASUSTeK Computer in 2008 and also manufactures gaming consoles for Microsoft (Xbox), networking equipment, and other consumer electronics. Pegatron has been diversifying its customer base and expanding manufacturing capacity in India to serve the growing Indian smartphone market.
