About the company
Transcorp Power is the power generation subsidiary of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria, operating the Ughelli gas-fired power plant in Delta State with a combined installed capacity of approximately 972 megawatts. The company was listed on the NGX in January 2024 and focuses on selling electricity to the Nigerian electricity grid. It is one of the largest independent power producers in Nigeria.
