About the company
Piraeus Port Authority manages and operates the Port of Piraeus, the largest port in Greece and one of the largest container and passenger ports in the Mediterranean. COSCO Shipping, the Chinese state-owned shipping giant, holds a controlling majority stake following a privatisation completed in 2016. The port handles container throughput, cruise ships, car carriers, and conventional cargo.
